Mahatma Anand Swami has told in his book "Yeh Dan Kiska", you should donate the money in active life. If you think, your kids will donate your money, you are just fool because your kids only have big desires and will consume all your the money which you kept separately.
He told a very interesting story. A person has returned from Govt. Job and distributed all his money to his kids. He kept 10% separately for donating for helpless. So, he took the help of raj mistri and added it in the wall. So that, other can not see. He thought that before his died, he will donate it. When the time of death comes, he unable to speak. He gave the signal by showing his hand to the wall where the money for donation was kept separately when his friends wanted to get same money for donate it fastly. His son understood that donated money is in the wall.
He spoke lie. My father is unable to speak at this age. He is speaking that he spent all his money on the construction of house. Now, he have nothing. So, go. All friends went to their home. Few days after, his father died. After completing the process to fire his dead body. His son broke the wall and took all his money which his father wanted to donate. His son has consumed all this money personally and did not give anything to helpless.
So, from this story, we have taken following lesson
1. No one knows when we go from this earth. Donate today at active life.
2. If you have money for donation purpose, donate it because if tomorrow, you will sick, you will unable to tell charitable organisation where is your money.
3. If you want to donate today. Donate today, tomorrow, you need same money and you break your promise.
4. You want to donate not your family. Money is your. So, donate because greed will barrier for your family not to donate for helpless.
